This latest work is inspired by a mother whale who visits the waters around Japan from winter to spring to give birth. Within her, a small, unborn life gently stirs. As she swims, the mother whale sings softly, as if speaking to her child. Her song travels through the depths of the ocean, spreading quietly together with the moonlight. The warmth of life passed from mother to child — the eternal rhythm of life unfolding beneath the sea — is expressed here through the mystical scenery of a moonlit night. May the sight of these whales, drifting in gentle light, bring a quiet sense of peace and hope to those who gaze upon them.
